Adele Gives Birth to Baby Boy: Reports

Adele has reportedly become a mother, giving birth to a baby boy according to Britain's Daily Mirror and Daily Mail. The 24-year-old singer and her boyfriend, 38 year-old charity CEO Simon Konecki, are said to have welcomed a son on Friday (Oct. 19).

There has not yet been official confirmation from the singer. A spokesperson told the Daily Mail, "we are not releasing a statement at this time."

Adele, whose 2011 album "21" spent 24 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and who won 12 Billboard Music Awards in May, announced her pregnancy on her blog in June. "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," she wrote. "I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."

The singer, full name Adele Adkins, discussed her relationship with Konecki in a January post on her blog as well as in her March 2012 Vogue cover story, which was released the same night she won six Grammys. In the Vogue story, Adele said Konecki is "wonderful, and he's proud of me, but he don't care about what I do or what other people think. He looks after me."

The couple was rumored to have married in August, but Adele quickly squashed those reports. "I'm not married... Zzzzzzz," she tweeted.

Adele's new single "Skyfall," the title song for the upcoming James Bond film, is spending its second week on the Hot 100 where it is currently No. 13.
