Michael Buble once described himself as a “Christmas prostitute,” so it comes to little surprise that the Canadian crooner is hosting another NBC Christmas special this year.
Buble will be flanked by fellow Canuck Carly Rae Jepsen, Rod Stewart and ‘The Voice‘ coach Blake Sheltonthis year for ‘Michael Buble: Home for the Holidays.’ The special, set to air Monday, Dec. 10 at 10PM ET, will be Buble’s second holiday offering for the peacock network. Last year, the ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ singer was joined by Jepsen’s mentor, Justin Bieber, as well as Kellie Pickler, Thalia and actor Ed Helms.
This year’s set list includes ‘Jingle Bell Rock,’ ‘Let It Snow,’ ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You,’ ‘Winter Wonderland’ and a “magical” duet with Bing Crosby of ‘White Christmas.’
Buble will also be joined by another special guest: Elmo! Though the furry red guy has had his share of drama lately, his duet with the Bubs will be a welcome escape from the ‘Sesame Street’ sex scandals of late.
Buble is one of the most festive stars out there. His ‘Christmas’ album was 2011′s second highest selling – not just second highest selling holiday albums, but highest selling albums period. On top of all that, he also performed at the 2011 Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting ceremony. We bet there was a lot of green in his crimson Christmas stocking last year.
