RIHANNA RILES UP 2,000 CHICAGO KIDS WITH HER TARDINESS

Rihanna

Rihanna is continuing her 777 tradition of showing up wherever she’s scheduled whenever she feels like it. The ‘Diamonds’ singer made 2,000 Chicago kids wait more than three hours for her to appear — and she didn’t stay long once she arrived.
Rihanna was slated to appear at Chicago’s Barrington High School to congratulate the winners of the Shine Like a Diamond contest, in which schools and students submitted videos and were recognized for giving back to their communities, their creativity and their school spirit. Rihanna was scheduled to arrive at the school at 2PM, but didn’t stroll in until 5:35PM, citing traffic woes for her tardiness.
Unfortunately for Rih and the students, some of them had waited so long that they left before she got there!
The remaining students had danceoffs to pass the time until Rihanna rolled up — and she only stayed for 12 minutes. Still, the singer and prolific tweeter was moved by the students’ hard work and dedication to charitable endeavors, and she took to Twitter to show it.
