Lovato’s collaborator on the bulk of ‘Demi,’ Suspex producer Jason Evigan, told MTV News that the evolution is a natural fit for the ‘Heart Attack’ singer.
“I think she’s matured into a woman,” Evigan revealed. “I think this album, even though she’s a young lady, her music this album is going to take her to like a Kelly Clarkson now,” he gushed. “She’s gonna be like aPink after this album. All the songs are credible. There’s no cheese! It’s all real classic songs. I think she has one of the best voices out there right now. This album’s gonna really show that and bring her to that next level where she’s not a Disney star.”
