Katy Perry attended the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, April 27, going green in a lovely, strapless Giambattista Valli gown with a bit of an iridescent pallor.
The last time Perry wore a green dress to a black-tie event (at the 2013 Grammys) she made headlines, since her boobies could not be contained. Thus, Boobgate was born. This time out, she was much more in control of her knockers!
The gown shows off Perry’s other assets. But it nearly crushes her most famous ones. She looks flat chested, which is not easy to do, since she is voluptuous. Other than that, the gown is divine and plays up the fact that Perry is in terrific, enviable shape.
The frock is subdued for the ‘Wide Awake’ singer, who is known for her penchant for candy-coated costumes.
The golden labyrinthian belt matches the rest of her jewelry and the yellow underlay of the dress.
Perry also dialed it down a bit by wearing her glossy, raven-hued hair in a cascade of curls, piled on her shoulder.
