The status of the Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth relationship is constantly in question and the subject of much speculation. Well, the singer and the actor put on a united front at last night’s (Aug. 8) premiere of his new film, the corporate espionage thriller ‘Paranoia,’ which should quell some of that gossip ‘paranoia’ that the couple is kaput, except for one thing: Apparently they acted like “strangers.” Say what?!
A source at the premiere told US Weekly, “Miley and Liam acted like they didn’t even know each other the entire night.” The source added, “She was wearing her ring but they acted as if they were strangers.”
Whoa.
Apparently Cyrus went in for a few kisses, but according to the source, “they were awkward and he didn’t seem into them.” Hemsworth was also tight-lipped when asked about his finacee, but he also said that he’s not one to be lovey-dovey in public, or on social media. In terms of the latter, he’d rather use the social platform to connect with his fans.
“On Twitter, I don’t share anything personal. I try to keep as much of my personal life to myself,” Hemsworth said. “I don’t feel the need to go out and show the world what’s happening in my life every second. I think it’s a good chance to connect with fans and give fans an inside look on films you do. I think it’s great for that kind of thing, but it’s very new to me.”

The couple posed many times. Hemsworth doesn’t exactly look comfortable in front of the flashbulbs. Srsly, what is he thinking about?!
