The big news was supposed to be the release of Justin Bieber's new movie, Justin Bieber's Believe, but the pop star managed to change conversation when he almost ruined Christmas for young girls everywhere by tweeting that he was retiring.
My beloved beliebers I'm officially retiring

He then followed up his message with a somewhat contradictory one in which he said he'd be around forever. Sigh of relief, right? (He also called the members of the media liars.)
The media talks a lot about me.They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle.

Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ Merry Christmas IM HERE FOREVER

The Biebs recently posted a photo on Instagram of himself chillin' with his little brother, so maybe he's just realizing how nice it can be to relax every once in a while. His last movie made almost $100 million worldwide, so while it seems unlikely that he's actually done with music, if he does decide he wants to stay in his jammies for the rest of his life, well, he can do that.
