Boy band kick split rumours into touch as they vow to remain together...
Niall Horan firmly rejected the split rumours, saying: "The fact we have an album coming should put these rumours to bed. We're here for as long as the fans want us.
"We're really close as a band. It was lovely to have time off, but now it's great to be back together and on the road. We're having a ball."
And Liam Payne added: "We want to release an album every year — year after year.
"Coming back together is like the first day of school. We don't want to go into the lessons because the social is too much fun."
And Liam explained that the boys have now got their own mobile recording studio, so they can continue to record new material while out on their mammoth 69-date world tour.
"It used to be an old MI5 van. It's where they recorded people during interrogation," he explained.
"Every year we work hard to establish a new sound, rather than sticking to the same old stuff."
And Harry Styles - often the focus of split rumours - weighed in on the subject too.
"We always hear rumours about us splitting - but we're not," he insisted. "We've already started recording our fourth album."
Meanwhile, the fivesome are reported to have a security team "bigger than President Obama's" looking after them 24 hours a day as they tour South America.
An insider told The Mirror that the boys have even been given "hostile environment training", with a source saying: "No risks are being taken. The dangers in some of these countries are very real and that’s why management have arranged the world’s best security teams.
"There will be no wandering into the city for partying or sightseeing anywhere deemed dangerous – and Colombia is definitely dangerous."
