Miley Cyrus is
fronting the spring
and summer campaign for Marc Jacobs. She looks great, has edgy style and is
friends with the designer, so it was an expected collabo. However, Juergen
Teller, the designer’s longtime photographer, refused to shoot Cyrus, so Jacobs
had to use a different snapper. What’s up with that?!
Jacobs (shown above) was super diplomatic when revealing
that his preferred shooter opted out for this campaign, saying, “I have worked with Juergen for years and love him
as an artist. He just didn’t want to shoot her.”
David Sims instead shot Cyrus since Teller elected to sit
this one out.
Jacobs, however, is totally enamored by Cyrus, saying, “We
all just love her and her entire being, her energy, her talent, her
intelligence, everything. There’s nothing I don’t like about her. She is just
genuine and very natural.”
Apparently, Teller doesn’t agree.
We wonder what the real dirt is behind his Teller’s refusal.
Perhaps he isn’t into Miley’s antics or doesn’t thinks he is high fashion
enough.
